A Possible WWE Return, Hulk Hogan On Why The NWO Should Be In The Hall Of Fame: Hulk Hogan made a name for himself thanks to the wrestling industry, and he’s had a huge impact on the history of the business.
Hogan was also one of the founding members of the nWo, and he recently told the Miami Herald that he thinks the group deserves a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.
“Now, you’re talking,” he said. “The nWo — Hogan, Hall, and Nash — kind of like changed wrestling and kind of like made a pivot, where everybody used to cheer for the good guys, and we kind of made it cool to cheer for the bad guys. So, the way we changed wrestling’s history and the course of the train of thought that the fans have now, I think is attributed a lot to the nWo’s reign of terror. I think the nWo — definitely the three original founding members — deserves a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.”

Of course, Hogan isn’t affiliated with WWE at the moment, as the company released him in 2015. However, it’s been rumored that WWE officials are looking to bring him back when the time is right, and he’s not counting out a return to the company.
“Well, never say never. That would be a dream come true for me to go back home. I started many, many years ago in 1977, 78 for Vince McMahon Sr., and I’ve been back-n-forth several times. So I’d like to go back one last time and stay there and never leave home again…”
